The Paris Bourse ended sharply higher for the second day in a row Wednesday, fears around Chinese real estate giant Evergrande, which had made it tremble on Monday, appearing to be receding.

The flagship CAC 40 index gained 1.29%, or 84.27 points to 6,637.00 points.

The day before, it had risen by 1.5%.
