Supporter association critical of the flag ban: "Completely sick"

According to the police, the ban has been introduced due to people in the stands hiding under pieces of cloth to hide the handling of pyrotechnics.

We had a meeting with the police last Friday to go through the event, and this issue was never touched, says Sirius club director Christer Abrahamsson to SVT Sport.

Viktor Tullgren, chairman of Västra Sidan, says that communication between supporters and the police is currently non-existent and wishes a better dialogue between them in the future.

- It is better to communicate with us that it is a problem and come up with a common solution that is good for both parties.

He also thinks that it affects the framing and mood at the match.

- We can still provide support through singing, but not the visual support and we will not be seen in the same way, says Viktor Tullgren.
