“The Pristina police officers, with the actual connivance of the international presence, have been hindering the movement of vehicles across the administrative border with the central part of Serbia since September 20 under far-fetched pretexts, while using violence against civilians,” the Foreign Ministry said.

It is noted that "in fact, we are talking about an attempt by local Albanians to seize the Serbian-populated areas of the province, to establish their control there."

"We regard these actions as a provocation, which aims to continue ethnic cleansing, to squeeze the Serbs out of Kosovo," the Foreign Ministry added.

Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, following a meeting of the Republic's Security Council, said that the Serbian side demands an immediate withdrawal from the administrative line between Kosovo and Metohija and Central Serbia of all units of the Kosovo police special forces.
