“Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan within the framework of the UN General Assembly ... The speech touched upon the events developing in the region.

According to Irakli Garibashvili, the most important goal of Georgia is to support peace and stability in the region, and the country is ready to fulfill its peacekeeping function for long-term peace and stability in the Caucasian region, ”it was reported.

Garibashvili also noted Erdogan's special efforts to deepen the strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey. 

Earlier it was reported that Erdogan will visit Russia on September 29. During the visit, he is expected to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
