The coalition was presented this Wednesday in Rabat by the new Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch.

The boss of the RNI - a liberal party and close to the Palace, is the big winner of the legislative elections of September 8.

It was to him that King Mohammed VI entrusted the mission of forming the government.

He was the first to speak to the press: "

I focused on the parties that came out on top to create a tight majority

."

No surprise, that was his declared intention the day after the vote.

At his side, the two leaders of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) and Istiqlal then took turns speaking.

A government by October 8

WFP entered government for the first time twelve years after its creation.

The Istiqlal, the oldest political formation in Morocco, the Independence Party, is making its comeback after five years in opposition.

The trio that won the ballot box therefore formed an alliance around a common program which can be summed up as follows: to redress the economic situation in Morocco.

During the campaign, social measures were put forward by the different parties.

Aziz Akhannouch undertakes to submit the list of the government team to the king as quickly as possible.

The opening of the parliamentary session scheduled for October 8 is, according to custom, the deadline for the formation of the new government.
