According to the regional daily, Me Corentin Delobel pointed out the health problems of this former restaurateur, who had been ousted from the management of a Nice establishment belonging to the businesswoman.

The 68-year-old man has “only one lung, following cancer when he was young”, is equipped with a pacemaker and suffers, according to him, from “morbid obesity and diabetes”.

Giuseppe Serena had been in prison for five years, where he had first served preventive detention.
