- On a normal day, 500 people can spin here.

It is clear that there will be a break for the center and the trade when we close, says hotel manager Peter Salomonsson.

Store owners are already fighting for survival

The store owner Johanna Lindgren Ringholt is also convening a Kiruna city collaboration.

She says that the loss of hotel guests will above all contribute to the movement that makes the city feel alive disappear.

- That is the big reason why we think it is sad that they choose to close earlier than the rest of us do, she says.

For her and the other shop owners in the city center, it is now important to be resourceful in order to keep life in the city center until the move - and Johanna Lindgren Ringholt already has a concrete proposal.
