“We strongly condemn all attempts by London to hold Moscow responsible for what happened in Salisbury and insist on a professional, objective and impartial investigation into the incident,” she said.

At the same time, Zakharova noted that the Russian side confirms its readiness for substantive interaction between law enforcement agencies and relevant experts on this issue.

Earlier, the British police brought charges against the third Russian in the Salisbury poisoning case.

On March 5, 2018, it became known that in the British Salisbury a man and a woman were poisoned by an "unknown substance", after which they were hospitalized in critical condition.

The victims were ex-GRU colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter.

In August 2019, the Russian Embassy sent another note to the British Foreign Office demanding to respond to inquiries about the progress of the investigation into the Skripal poisoning.

The embassy called on London to answer the main questions: what are the fate and state of health of Sergei and Yulia Skripal.
