Case 1 was discovered when they took the initiative to go to the Second People’s Hospital of Bayan County for a nucleic acid test; Case 2 and Case 3 were people who returned to Kazakhstan from the Philippines and were released from quarantine.
Cases 2 and 3 entered Guangzhou Baiyun Airport by flight 5J308 from Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines on August 3, and were medically quarantined at Casey International Hotel in Guangzhou for 14 days. After the centralized quarantine was lifted on August 18, they took Guangzhou flight JD5165 on the same day. Arrived at Harbin Taiping International Airport and stayed at home in Bayan County for 14 days from August 18 to September 1. During this period, the nucleic acid test was negative. The isolation was lifted on September 1 and on September 21, as case 1’s close The contact was found during active screening.
At present, the three have been transferred to designated medical institutions for isolation, observation and treatment. At the same time, epidemiological investigations and gene sequencing have been carried out on the confirmed cases.
Relevant departments have implemented isolation management and control measures for all close contacts and close contacts identified, and conducted follow-up inspections, closed management of the communities involved, and conducted terminal disinfection and closed management of the places where they had been active.
From 0:00 to 18:00 on September 21, 291 close contacts of 3 confirmed cases were investigated, including 9 people from other places who have been pushed; 966 close contacts of close contacts; 222 people in centralized isolation; 505 people in nucleic acid sampling, 195 people have had results, all of them are negative, 310 people are waiting for results; 752 people are waiting to be tested.
For the 6 co-residents of the above 3 confirmed cases, the nucleic acid test results were all negative.
At present, Harbin City has organized nucleic acid testing of at-risk populations, conducted case treatment and isolation medical observation, implemented personal protection of medical staff and nosocomial infection control, and carried out flow traceability to investigate potential close contacts.
According to the epidemic prevention and control situation, starting from September 22, Harbin's kindergartens, primary and secondary schools (including secondary vocational schools) will stop offline teaching for one week and switch to online teaching.
