The Court of Instruction No. 2 of Alcobendas, acting as a guard, today ordered the provisional imprisonment reported and without bail of Noelia de Mingo for the alleged commission of a crime of attempted homicide and an attack on an agent of the authority, as As a result of the multiple assault that took place on Monday in the town of El Molar when he stabbed the cashier and the owner of a supermarket.

In addition, the judge has ordered that the investigated be referred to the Psychiatry Unit of the Madrid 1 penitentiary in Alcalá Meco,

in case they are transferred to the Foncalent penitentiary-psychiatric center.

The report prepared today by the forensic doctor, establishes that the investigated "does not suffer from a psychotic decompensation, although it requires the need for a subsequent study"

Noelia de Mingo, who

has availed herself of her right not to testify,

has shown herself during the statement, which took place at the Infanta Sofía Hospital, oriented and saddened. The defendant was sentenced to 25 years of confinement in a psychiatric center responsible for the death of three people at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation in 2003.

The last report provided by the doctors of the Infanta Sofía Hospital, dated September 3, indicated that the patient was under control. The doctors who treat Noelia de Mingo concluded that at that date the patient "

does not present psychotic decompensation"

and they point out that she

has been punctual for the administration of the medication,

the antipsychotic that the doctors have prescribed and that she is given every four weeks .

The Madrid Institute of Legal Medicine had pronounced in identical terms days before. On July 2, 2021, the Forensic Psychiatry Specialties Service clarifies in its report that Noelia de Mingo "

suffers from a serious disease of chronic course of which at present she does not present active psychotic symptoms

." In the same vein, the report states that the patient had presented proof of the monthly injection of antipsychotics with which the psychiatrists of the Infanta Sofía Hospital treat her and they summon her for a new evaluation in a period of three months.

In the fall of 2017, when he had been confined for fourteen years, Section 16 of the Provincial Court of Madrid, at the request of the Alicante prison surveillance court and with the favorable report of the Public Prosecutor's Office, substituted the confinement in a psychiatric center for treatment outpatient clinic and family custody, in light of the different clinical-forensic reports, all of which coincide in the situation of stability of the patient, in the reality that she had not presented any episode of decompensation again, and in view of the fact that he was fully aware of his illness, of the symptoms that could offset the course of his ailment and the awareness of the damage he had caused.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Provincial Court of Madrid conditioned the outpatient treatment that the affected person undergoes until the end of the confinement to the control, at the beginning fortnightly, of psychiatry of the Infanta Sofía Hospital, San Sebastián de los Reyes, to the supervision of the forensic doctors of the Provincial Court itself and the commitment made by the family to report to the court and the clinical specialist the appearance of symptoms of decompensation in the patient.
