Lavrov will take part in the meeting of the foreign ministers of the permanent members of the UN Security Council and Gutteres

This is stated in the statement of the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier it was reported that Lavrov plans to hold about 25 meetings with foreign colleagues during the session of the UN General Assembly.

A meeting with Guterres is also scheduled.

In January, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that Moscow expects that the administration of the new US President Joe Biden will study Russia's proposal for a summit of the UN Security Council's Five and that it will take place as soon as the epidemiological situation allows.
