Deputies of the State Duma of the VII convocation to take part in the autumn session of PACE

TASS was informed about this by the head of the Russian delegation, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy.

"The powers of the State Duma deputies of the previous convocation end on the day of the first plenary meeting of the next convocation," Tolstoy said.

According to him, the session will begin on September 27, by which time, most likely, the first meeting of the eighth convocation of the Duma has not yet taken place.

Members of the Duma part of the Russian delegation will take part in the session online, Tolstoy specified.

Earlier, the CEC completed the processing of protocols for the elections to the State Duma.
