A man who took hostages on a bus was detained in Germany

A police spokesman told the newspaper that the man was arrested at 21:30 local time.

In connection with the incident, the autobahn was closed.

Special police units worked on the spot.

The police clarified that in addition to the hijacker, there were two drivers on the bus, the rest of the passengers left the vehicle.

Earlier, a man was detained in Georgia who seized a branch of the Bank of Georgia in the city of Kvareli in Kakheti with a weapon.
