The head of the CEC spoke about the situation with the invalid ballots

"In these 35 regions out of 85, out of 107 out of almost 100 thousand polling stations, 25,830 ballots were declared invalid," Pamfilova was quoted by TASS.

It was also reported that the turnout in the elections to the State Duma throughout Russia was 51.68%. 

The head of the CIS observer mission, Ilkhom Nematov, commented on the elections to the Russian State Duma at a meeting at the CEC.
