Pashinyan congratulated Putin on the victory of "United Russia" in the elections

Please accept my sincere congratulations on the convincing victory of the United Russia party in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

The election results testify to the support by the citizens of Russia of the political course pursued by the political leadership of the country, ”TASS quoted the press service of the head of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers.

Pashinyan noted that "the close cooperation of the newly elected National Assembly of Armenia and the State Duma of the new convocation will make a significant contribution to the promotion of the Armenian-Russian allied relations."

Earlier, a three-day voting in the elections of deputies of the State Duma of the VIII convocation, which took place from 17 to 19 September, ended in Russia. At the moment, the counting of votes continues. After processing 99.69% of ballots, according to the CEC, the United Russia party gains 49.85% of the vote.
