Four 15-year-old girls arrested as part of the investigation by the Carabinieri of the Brescia Provincial Command. Now they have to answer for the crimes of beatings, injuries and persecutory acts against a peer. Three under house arrest and one in the community. They are Italian and live in the province. In reality there are seven young women involved, of which three are not attributable because they are under 14 years old.
The turning point of the investigations thanks to social networks. The investigations, coordinated by the Brescia Public Prosecutor's Office and launched after the victim's complaint, were conducted by monitoring the social profiles of the stalkers.
The military ascertained that the girl - known by the suspects - had long been the recipient of threats and harassment by the group. Everything was often filmed and published on their "Instagram" profiles by the authors of the attacks who sent the videos via whatsapp to groups of friends.
The three girls under house arrest were entrusted to their parents with a prohibition against leaving the house except for contacts with the juvenile social services office and school attendance according to the shortest route.
