El Salvador's president calls himself dictator on Twitter

In the new description, Bukele described himself as "the dictator of El Salvador."

Earlier, as noted by the EFE agency, Bukele referred to himself in the same description as the President of El Salvador.

In recent tweets, Bukele revealed that El Salvador bought another 150 bitcoins, bringing the government-owned bitcoins to 700.

In El Salvador, on September 7, a law came into force, according to which the authorities declared bitcoin as an official means of payment along with the US dollar.

Thus, El Salvador became the first state in the world to introduce the appropriate status for the digital currency.

The World Bank has announced that it will not support El Salvador in accepting Bitcoin.
