At the beginning of September, the National Police arrested a 50-year-old Ecuadorian pastor from the Maranatha evangelical congregation in Getafe, accused of sexually abusing four girls aged 10, nine, seven and six.

The arrested man

covered the girls' eyes with a scarf

on the pretext of playing

blind duck

so that they could guess which finger was putting them in their mouths.

However, the girls stated that "he put something big of a bad smell in them and asked them to move their tongues from one side to the other."

The pastor was detained by UFAM agents and was released on charges after testifying before the judge.

He is charged with a crime of sexual abuse.

The defendant asked the girls to keep the game secret and offered them rewards and gifts in return.

Abuses have been committed since last year in the detainee's office with the door closed and in the back of his vehicle.

They usually happened after Mass on Fridays.

The case came to light at the end of August when a girl told her mother that the pastor forced them to play an entertainment that she did not like.

He related that after mass the pastor invited him to the office where he told him that they were going to play

blind duck.

The minor also said that other girls had gone through the same situation from the end of last year until this summer.

The parents of the minors went to the police station to denounce the evangelist pastor.

Sources close to the case report that the defense is carried out by the criminal law firm Ospina Abogados, which has resigned from making statements.
