20 December 2019 There are fourteen sentences imposed on members of the Casamonica clan by the gup of Rome. These are subjects involved in the Gramigna maxi investigation and who opted for the shortened procedure. The aggravating circumstances of the mafia method and the facilitation of the mafia association have been recognized. Inflicted 9 years and 4 months on Rocco Casamonica and 8 years on Domenico Strangio, the defendant of Calabrian origins who, according to the Prosecutor's Office, supplied drugs to the clan. Two were acquitted by judge Angela Gerardi. The main trial is taking place in front of the tenth collegiate section, which sees 44 people accused.
