The trips have been many and the feelings hot.
But now Botkyrka municipality has decided to move the garbage in Kassmyra.
The bill for the whole thing will land around SEK 200 million.
According to both the municipality and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the situation is so acute, purely in terms of health, that the rubbish must be removed as soon as possible.
On September 30, a decision will be made in the City Council and the move itself is now planned for the beginning of October.
Who ultimately takes the bill for the garbage removal remains to be seen.
The choice is between the municipality, the landowner or the company Think pink.
The rubbish dump in Kagghamra will remain for the time being.
