A police officer responsible for monitoring the journey of Gabriel Attal when he came to Meaux (Seine-et-Marne), this Thursday, saved a young woman from suicide.

The agent was near the station, on the path taken by the government spokesperson to leave the city at the end of his visit, reports

.

It was a teenager who alerted the official.

The desperate woman had crossed the barriers of the bridge

He led him about ten meters further, to the foot of a bridge, where he explained that he had spotted the unusual behavior of a woman.

On the spot, the police officer indeed discovered a young woman who crossed the barriers.

She was leaning forward over the water, holding onto the fence behind her.

When she noticed the agent's presence, the desperate woman withdrew one of her hands from the barrier, stuck one foot out and threatened to jump into the water.

The official then entered into a discussion with her.

"Our colleague was able to reassure her and he was able to approach her," said a police source.

He then belted her around and pulled her over the fence to bring her back to dry land.
