It is the company's own measurements that show that the company in 2020 exceeded the limit set for phosphorus emissions from fish farming.
Since Strömsund municipality is the supervisory authority, the whole thing has been reported to the prosecutor.
- It is about the company having violated the conditions of the permit, says environmental prosecutor Märta Warg to SVT Nyheter Jämtland.
The company has a permit to emit 8,000 tonnes of phosphorus per year.
SVT does not know how much they have exceeded the emissions.
The issue is now being investigated by prosecutors.
