Three men aged 20, 26 and 30 were sentenced by the Thionville criminal court, reports

Le Républicain Lorrain

for the kidnapping of a person more than a month ago.

Two of them were sentenced to three years and another received two years in prison.

The story goes back to early August, in Florange, in Moselle.

Three men are looking for a resident of the city for a history of debts.

They do not find him but get their hands on his cousin, whom they then take to another town in Lorraine, Saint-Avold.

It is there that the victim was confined in a cellar, after having been beaten.

An ordeal of one night, before a release the next day.

The three defendants denied the kidnapping and forcible confinement.
