“In the afternoon of September 19, a message was received about the discovery of the body of a woman without signs of life near the Belarusian-Polish border ... It was established that a 39-year-old Iraqi citizen was killed,” the message on the Telegram channel of the Belarusian Investigative Committee says.
It is noted that the woman was found without shoes, and after an initial examination of the body, the investigation does not exclude, among other things, the version of death from hypothermia.
Investigative actions are underway.
Earlier, the Foreign Ministry of Belarus recalled its readiness to discuss the problem of migrants with the EU.
