The operation resulted in 73 fines for speeding and the impoundment of four vehicles, said the national police on its Twitter account.

In 2015, a 17-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle and died during a wild rodeo in Saint-Herblain.

The driver, who was driving without a license and with alcohol in his blood, had been sentenced to five years in prison.
