The Democratic Party's presidential primary candidate Lee Jae-myung's camp attacked the allegations of the Jangjang district in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, as the former and current gates of the people's power that smelled of money.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee's Election Countermeasures Committee claimed that the People's Power and some media claimed or reported that Lee's son was working as an employee of Hwacheon Daeyu without any verification.

However, all of this was false, and rather, it was confirmed that the businessmen related to the younger brother of former lawmaker Shin Young-soo, the son of Kwak Sang-do of the People's Power, and former lawmaker Yu-cheol Yu were investors, employees, and advisors, respectively.

Candidate Lee continued, claiming that the fact that former and current officials of the People's Power, who smelled the money, were being entangled in the Daejang-dong development project, claimed that it was the Gukhim Gate that had been stolen from the real estate development business and then reappeared wearing the outer skin of a financial institution.

At the same time, he urged the investigation of the Guk Power gate surrounding Daejang-dong, saying that he would strictly hold the legal responsibility for those on the People's Power side who spread false information and told lies.
