It is a sensitive subject as the previous municipal majority had learned the hard way.

Rather than extending paid parking to entire districts, the City of Bordeaux wants to extend it in certain streets of the Caudéran and Saint-Augustin districts, most of which are close to boulevards, in certain sectors of Bordeaux Maritime and around the rue de la Benauge at the Bastide.

Information meetings will be organized in the neighborhoods concerned and associations have already been consulted.

Consultation is underway (via questionnaires sent to all the households concerned) until November 30, specifies the City.

It is an external service provider, in this case the Post Office, which is responsible for questioning and processing the responses.

The decision will be taken at the end of the year for these streets, mainly close to the boulevards.
