Social networking sites were awash with pictures and videos of members of the movement last August, practicing sports in the Jim Hall of the Presidential Palace in Kabul, and playing in the amusement park.

Later, the Afghan "Tolo News" channel published a picture of the militants eating "ice cream".

On the other hand, Taliban militants in Herat province, western Afghanistan, attended a football league final in the Afghan city and presented the championship trophy to the winning team, according to the British newspaper, Daily Mail.
