Ships of the Russian Northern Fleet to conduct exercises in the Laptev Sea

"A Ka-27 helicopter flew several times for ice reconnaissance from the board of the large anti-submarine ship Severomorsk," Interfax reports.

It is noted that the ice conditions along the crossing route were mostly favorable.

The detachment includes a large anti-submarine ship "Severomorsk", a large landing ship "Georgy Pobedonosets", a rescue tugboat "Pamir" and a tanker "Sergei Osipov".

Earlier, during the exercise of the Northern Fleet in the Arctic, six firing by sea and land-based cruise missiles were carried out.
