In 8 years, 34,918 Weibo posts with millions of words of information were sorted out, and few followers followed.
On September 18, 2020, at the request of netizens, @防战直播 opened the second "live broadcast".

Beginning on September 18, 1931, the process of the 6-year War of Resistance from 1931 to 1937 was synchronized.
A reporter from China News Agency interviewed Jiang Tao, the founder of @防战直播, and listened to him tell the story behind the live broadcast of the War of Resistance Against Japan.
The encounter of three "outsiders"
Jiang Tao, Qian Yinhao, and Xi Kang are the three members of @防战直播.
They are laymen because they are not from history classes.
Jiang Tao first studied economics and management at Shanghai Jiaotong University and was also the initiator of the "Anti-Japanese War Live".
Once, he accidentally read such a story:
During the Anti-Japanese War, the reporter interviewed a soldier who went to Hebei to organize guerrillas: "What are you going to do after China's victory?" The unknown soldier said calmly: "At that time, I was already dead. In this war, All soldiers will probably die."
As a result, the idea of him wanting to be a "live broadcast of the War of Resistance" came up.
"Anti-Japanese War" requires "comrades in arms", and then two like-minded people joined Jiang Tao's team. They are Qian Yinhao and Xi Kang, both from the School of Economics and Management of Jiaotong University.
Qian Yinhao was rigorous in thinking and was responsible for the textual research on war history. Xi Kang liked military equipment, and left the rest to Jiang Tao.
Everything is difficult at the beginning. At first, they spend more than ten hours a week sorting out the material.
Newspapers such as "Sheng Bao", "Xinhua Daily", and "Ta Kung Pao", as well as the memoirs and diaries of historical figures, have become their source of material.
In order to ensure the authenticity of the live broadcast, the three people need to repeatedly examine the content.
On September 3 this year, @防战直播 published a Weibo to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan. So far, the number of Weibo posted by this account has reached 40,336.

Why do we want to do "Anti-Japanese War Live"
For economic management students, "return rate" is a very important concept.
Doing a "live broadcast of the War of Resistance Against Japan" not only has no return rate, but also consumes a lot of time.
In the "live broadcast" of the first 8 years, @防战直播 has received little attention.
Jiang Tao also said frankly: "In the case of Weibo that has not responded for a long time, in fact, everyone's sense of gain is insufficient, and the only sense of gain is to feel that they are doing something meaningful."

@防战直播 put a Weibo "Why We Live the War of Resistance" to the top for a long time, which read:
Our live broadcast of the War of Resistance is not to agitate negative emotions such as hatred, but to appropriately arouse forgetfulness. When we always keep in mind the suffering, fear and humiliation our ancestors endured; when we appreciate how our ancestors abandoned their predecessors when the nation was in danger. When we realize national reconciliation; when we appreciate how our ancestors went to death calmly and generously, and sacrificed the country with their bodies; I believe we will have more mature and rational thinking about reality.
Jiang Tao said that before making the live broadcast of the War of Resistance Against Japan, he did not like modern history because it was a history full of humiliation.
During the live broadcast of the Anti-Japanese War, he gradually changed his attitude.
"When the whole nation is in good times, it is difficult for you to realize the meaning of your survival. What is the meaning of your painful resistance or even sacrifice for it?"
"Only in times of adversity, in pain, can our nation's most primitive vitality and most valuable characteristics burst out. These things are the driving force for this nation, even if it is hundreds of years later, to continue to live."
"This is the history of China in the past 100 years. It is the most precious thing brought to China. It is not material, not wealth, but a sense of meaning."
Perseverance, wisdom, tolerance-the most precious traits of the Chinese nation
Jiang Tao believes that the most intuitive feature of the Chinese nation embodied in the War of Resistance is perseverance.
Being able to hold on to such a difficult thing for 14 years is the best interpretation of the word "endurance" in itself.
The second quality is wisdom.
"The 14-year war of resistance cannot rely solely on the so-called perseverance. You must be wise to analyze why we can win and how do we win?"
"The Chinese nation is a nation in a mainland country, and it has a far-reaching vision than these island nations. At the strategic level, from the very beginning we envisioned how to do it at each stage if this war is fought for more than ten years."
"Japan rarely has such a clear idea of how to execute specific battles. It does a good job, but strategically, it is incomparable."
"At the strategic level, the Chinese nation has this kind of very rational and very high wisdom. Without this kind of wisdom, your perseverance is meaningless."
The last and most valuable trait is tolerance.
"During the War of Resistance, Japan did so many bad things, but in treating Japanese prisoners of war and Japanese overseas Chinese, we always abide by the promise we have made, not to kill civilians, and even protect them from evacuation."
"Under this kind of humiliation, the human nature that we burst out is the most precious thing of this nation. Even in the most difficult times, it still maintains a tolerant, peaceful, and honest background."
"If you have been living in hatred, this nation will never stand up. You need to be tolerant, and you need to stand taller than your opponents to look down on them. This is why China has its current status in the world."

Returning to the original intention of "Live Broadcast of the War of Resistance Against Japan", Jiang Tao talked about unknown soldiers.
"He knows that the future is about to die, but he is determined to die because he knows why he lives when he is alive."
"He didn't tell you the meaning, he just told you that there is such a meaning. Some people can die for the meaning in his mind."
"Our nation is not like other ancient nations. The middle will be broken. If this sense of existence disappears in the whole nation, this nation will die. But there will always be a group of people in the Chinese nation who continue to realize this. Meaning has never been cut off."
