The CNRD organized its first press briefing this Saturday, September 18 in Conakry.

It was mainly devoted to the results of the visit of ECOWAS Heads of State on Friday (Ghanaian President Nana Akufo Addo and his Ivorian counterpart Alassane Ouattara).

The West African organization decided on targeted sanctions against junta officials, demanded a short six-month transition, and also the “unconditional” release of ousted President Alpha Condé.
