"By the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek, the suspect Dzhoomart Otorbaev was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of pre-trial proceedings," the court told Interfax.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, Otorbaev will be kept in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security until September 30.
Earlier it was reported that Otorbaev was detained in Kyrgyzstan in a corruption case.
