Guo Yifan opened a coffee shop "Coffee Handling" in the ancient district of Zhuzifang, Fuzhou.

After coming to Fuzhou for five years from Taiwan, Guo Yifan suddenly discovered recently that his WeChat address book had only three friends five years ago, but now he has unknowingly added more than 2,000 friends.

After the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia in early 2020, Guo Yifan joined the ranks of volunteers to deliver free coffee to doctors on the frontline of the epidemic in Fuzhou.

At that time, his kind deeds warmed the city of Fuzhou, and "Coffee Carrying" was also widely known for this.

Nowadays, "carrying coffee" has become a good place for youth exchanges on both sides of the strait, attracting many people to meet and chat here in their leisure time, or make an appointment to "black out".

"I hope to use the game to get to know more friends, to learn online, and to have good exchanges offline." Guo Yifan looks forward to his store becoming a gathering place for players from both sides of the strait. "The barista will communicate with customers like friends, paying great attention Their sense of experience."

According to Liu Zongxin, Guo Yifan’s teammate, there are more and more players from both sides of the strait who make friends across the sea because of the game.

Liu Zongxin came to Fuzhou from New Taipei, Taiwan in 2013 to become a golf coach.

He has a close relationship with Fuzhou. "The generation of my father and grandfather has a factory in Mawei, Fuzhou."

Although golf is a niche sport, the large population of the mainland has allowed Liu Zongxin to discover business opportunities.

The Internet thinking of entrepreneurs in mainland China deeply inspired him.

In the past two years, he has operated his own Douyin and Xiaohongshu accounts, and has had tens of thousands of "fans" in just three months.

What surprised him more was that industry resources followed.

Many industry customers contacted him through social accounts to seek cooperation, "These resources are very helpful to me, and they can also help me to go deeper into this industry."

Liu Zongxin told reporters that compared to starting a business in Taiwan, the overall atmosphere in the mainland is more friendly to entrepreneurs. “Logistics and e-commerce are more developed, and everything you need is at your fingertips.” For entrepreneurs, the cost of starting a business in the mainland is also It is much lower than Taiwan.

Speaking of e-sports, Liu Zongxin said that in the past, playing e-sports in Taiwan was more about individual heroism; now, if you want to win, you must pay attention to tactical coordination with your mainland partners.

Lin Yangjie, another Taiwanese teammate of the TPF team, agrees with this. His secret is "team cooperation".

He said that the game of Soul Blade requires the cooperation of the team to operate it in order to operate well.

As a hairdresser, Lin Yangjie has been in Fuzhou for more than two years for employment and entrepreneurship, and he has “adapted well” to the aesthetic and business models of the mainland.

He said that the game is one of his ways to get to know his friends in mainland China. Sometimes the team's voice is black, and netizens will be surprised when he hears his accent, "it matched the Taiwanese."

"So, having fun, we became good friends." Lin Yangjie hopes that e-sports will build a bridge and promote more exchanges between young people on both sides of the strait.
