These are the first clarifications arrived from Palazzo Chigi after the decree approved yesterday.



There is now a month to untie the many knots that the provision delivers to public administrations and private companies: from the intersection of the obligation of the Green pass with the return to work in the presence of the difficult organization of the services of the order and fire brigade, to the extension of the validity of the molecular buffer up to 72 hours disputed by the experts. Meanwhile, the State Council has given the go-ahead for certification, the request for which does not violate privacy and is legitimate.

The obligation of green certification will come into force from October 15 until December 31, with the aim of undermining the hard core of the no vax by raising the share of immunized which has exceeded 40 million, equal to 68% of the entire population ( 76% taking into account the vaccinable one). Company with fewer than 15 employees can temporarily replace the worker

Confcommercio: "Obscure and difficult to apply"

Criticisms come from Confcommercio, which speaks of obscure and difficult to apply. "Why - asks Guido Lazzarelli of the association - does the suspension of the worker start only on the fifth day? Why does the term replacement only last 10 days and what happens if on the eleventh day I decide to extend a term contract? We hope - he adds - that the necessary interpretative clarifications arrive in a short time ".



Unions: "Categories that already have staff problems?"

Then there are 'particular' public workers to be considered, such as the police and firefighters. In the police there are, for example, 17 thousand unvaccinated out of 97 thousand. However, a number of unvaccinated people have had Covid. Among the prison police, explains the Uil Pa, 13 thousand have not yet taken the first dose, more than a third of the total. "What would happen - asks the union - in case of suspensions from the service that would be added to the very serious shortage of the existing staff?". Similar problems could concern the other police forces and firefighters: the distribution of no vax is not homogeneous, there are concentrations in some regions rather than in some departments and therefore it may not be easy to organize an adequate garrison of the territory.The Silp CGIL union thus requested an urgent meeting with the Chief of Police, Lamberto Giannini, precisely to verify the impact of the decree which will determine "profound changes in the organization of work in our Administration".



Another chapter to be addressed is that of smart working: there will be a number of no vax personnel who will ask for agile work just when Minister Brunetta has hoped for a massive return to work in the public sector. In the private sector, the issue is referred to individual company agreements.



Unions: "Tampons cannot be paid by workers"

However, anyone who does not want to get vaccinated can swab. Maurizio Landini (CGIL), Lugi Sbarra (CISL) and Pierpaolo Bombardieri (UIL) continue to ask for free tests that "cannot be paid by the workers". Thus the Minister of Labor Andrea Orlando in an interview with La Stampa answering a question on the extension of the green pass to workplaces.
