US authorities said a Kentucky man fired several shots from a hotel window, then told police he had allegedly shot aliens in a parking lot.

According to a US police press release published by the New York Post, Samuel Riddell, 55, gave a detailed explanation to Richmond police after he opened fire on a hotel on Kinneyland Drive, which led to the evacuation of inmates who panicked among them.

The statement indicated that a woman closed the bathroom of the hotel room when the shooting erupted, and only came out when the police came to her and told her that the situation was under control.

The statement stated that no one was injured, but the bullets entered one of the hotel rooms and hit a few cars in the hotel's parking lot.

The police said that they found the shooter and arrested him, and it turned out that he was a former convict, and they seized two pistols and a semi-automatic rifle in his possession.

The US authorities charged Riedel with a range of charges, including endangering the lives of the public and police officers, and possessing weapons.
