The man was wanted at the end of last week after stealing a car in Stockholm.
On Tuesday, the man was arrested in Jönköping after he almost ran over a police officer.
On Friday, the man was arrested at Stockholm District Court.
He is suspected of attempted aggravated assault, aggravated drunk driving, aggravated negligence in traffic and aggravated receiving.
At first he was suspected of attempted murder, but that heading has changed.
The man denies all allegations, states chamber prosecutor Klas Hellgren.
