Agreements and partnerships

The European strategy is based on a wide range of initiatives which include in particular free trade agreements with Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia, as well as partnership agreements with Malaysia and Thailand.

There will also be partnerships for the management of the oceans, for digital technology or climate change, for research or for example for health, so as to allow Europeans to establish themselves permanently in the Indo-Pacific region.
