"On September 16-17, 2021, the first Russian-Dutch interdepartmental consultations on security issues in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) were held in The Hague," the message says.

As noted, the agenda of the consultations included a wide range of security issues in the use of ICT on global and regional platforms, as well as on a bilateral track.

The parties noted the need to prevent conflicts and prevent any kind of confrontation in this area, informed the department.

The ministry noted that the consultations were held in a constructive atmosphere and in a spirit of cooperation.

Earlier, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that a dialogue is underway with Moscow at the diplomatic level regarding cybersecurity issues.
