The locally started Enjoycity is one of four companies with electric scooters around Norrköping.

Co-owner Vivianne Ochoa Marin understands the criticism they have received about the scooters being used carelessly, but does not agree that a fee should be charged from the companies in exchange for them picking up incorrectly parked scooters that the municipality has rectified.

- We do not see that it will change, customers will continue to throw them away, she says.

At the same time, Swedish Qick scooters think that this particular proposal is a good solution to the problem.

- In this way, you do not transfer the fee to the taxpayers, but the companies with electric scooters then have to bear the cost of transporting them away, answers Diyar Kizil, operations manager at Qick scooters.

"We demand better parking"

Tier has electric scooters all over the world.

The German company has had its vehicle fleet in Norrköping for the past seven months.

Joachim Nordström is regional manager in the east for Tier in Sweden.

Soon they will launch two functions to improve the problem of incorrect parking.

- We want users to become better at riding scooters, mainly parking.

We demand better parking - you should take a picture of your parked scooter after a ride to see if it is in the right position, he explains.
