The burnt body of a man was discovered this Friday morning near Corot Park, a dilapidated city in the 13th arrondissement of Marseille, indicates the Marseille prosecutor's office.
Firefighters and police were called around 5:15 am to extinguish a fire.
On the spot, they discovered that it was actually the body of a man, not yet identified in the current state of the findings.
An investigation for intentional homicide in an organized gang and criminal association with a view to the commission of a crime has been opened.
The autopsy must make it possible to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
