The investigation is moving forward after the rape of a 35-year-old woman in the middle of the street in Boulazac, on the outskirts of Périgueux (Dordogne), during the night from Friday to last Saturday.
Almost a week after the incident, a man was arrested this Thursday by the police, reports France Bleu.
Aged 30, he is suspected of being the author of the assault.
He is known to the police for other crimes not of a sexual nature, specifies

The young woman was allegedly violently assaulted and raped on her way home from work around midnight.
She walked between the hotel where she works and her home.
The suspect was taken into custody while the public prosecutor should give details this Friday evening on the facts.
