Mishustin spoke about the support of residents of the regions affected by floods

“Another question about helping residents of the Far Eastern regions, who suffered this year due to strong and prolonged floods,” Mishustin said.

“On behalf of the President, we discussed the situation in detail at a special meeting during a working trip to the Far East.

Then a number of important decisions were made: the necessary funds were allocated to the Amur Region, as well as to the Trans-Baikal Territory for payments to the victims.

Today we will send more than 4 billion rubles to the Trans-Baikal Territory.

Most of them, 3 billion 900 million rubles - for new housing for people who have lost it due to floods.

And another 350 million for the overhaul of houses damaged by the elements.

We will also allocate more than 900 million rubles to support the residents of the Jewish Autonomous Region, who suffered from the floods last year, ”he added.

Earlier it was reported that Mishustin signed an order on the allocation of more than 2 billion rubles to provide assistance to residents of the Amur Region and pay compensation in connection with the past floods.
