[Commentary] On September 14, the Mid-Autumn Festival sympathy event for family members across the Strait was held in Chongqing. More than 60 members of family members from both sides of the strait and representatives of Taiwanese and Taiwanese participated in the event.

[Explanation] The reporter learned that among the members of the cross-strait marriage and family participating in this event are Taiwan compatriots who have just settled in the mainland, and there are also land-based spouses who have been married to Taiwan for more than 30 years.

[Explanation] After walking through the mountain trails and over the mountain tea gardens, members of the marriage and family on both sides of the strait came to the Dingxin tea garden in Banan District.

The reporter saw at the scene that the exquisite Hanfu, gorgeous headwear, and accessories for the Hanfu experience were already ready for the members.

They experience Chinese traditional culture in the process of making traditional lanterns and dressing up Hanfu.

Wearing Hanfu and holding lanterns made by themselves, many family members from both sides of the Taiwan Strait took photos together and enjoyed the scene.

Afterwards, the members came to the Nanquan Anti-Japanese War Site, the city-level exchange base for Taiwan, and visited the old sites such as Linsen Villa and Kong Xiangxi's official residence.

[Explanation] Mainland spouse Pan Yingqiong is the first time in Chongqing to participate in cross-strait marriage and family member networking activities.

Pan Yingqiong told reporters that through this event, she felt the strong affection of the family on both sides of the strait.

Today I am very happy to participate in this event. We also wore Hanfu with all the Taiwanese family members, and took various beautiful photos, and then tasted the tea culture, so that we can feel the traditional Chinese festivals. Friendship.

[Commentary] Chen Xingjie from Taiwan is a Chongqing son-in-law. He told reporters that he had been ignorant of the mainland from the beginning, and now he likes Chongqing.

Now, every year he goes back to Chongqing to see.

Chen Xingjie said that when he came back this time, his family was also discussing preparing to settle in Chongqing, not only because of the development here, but also because of the feeling that people here have a high happiness index.

He also hopes that in the future he can tell his personal experiences and changes to his compatriots in Taiwan.

After getting married, I learned about the mainland, especially in Chongqing. I slowly and slowly learned more and more. I also understand and speak some Chongqing dialects.

It's really good to go back to the motherland, really good.

Why?

Because the happiness index is very high, especially in Chongqing.

[Explanation] It is understood that cross-strait marriage and family are known as the "fourth link besides the three links between the two sides of the strait", which is an important link to inherit the roots of the Chinese nation and spread the love and affection between the two sides of the strait.

At present, there are more than 16,000 married couples on both sides of the Strait, and they have played an important role in cross-strait exchanges.

[Concurrent] Ge Zhengjie, Chairman of the Harmonious Family Association across the Taiwan Straits

I think our cross-strait marriage and family are a very good bridge between the two sides of the strait, and we should start from ourselves.

We let our Taiwan compatriots and relatives and friends in Taiwan know some positive energy, some videos or some things in the mainland, and then promote the harmony between the two sides of the strait.

Then start from our family, so that the Chinese cultural tradition can be carried forward.
