Member of Parliament Hanif Bali (M) has been investigated internally in the Moderates after accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior.
The investigation concerns contacts with a minor woman.
According to SVT's sources, the woman was 15 years old when she came in contact with Hanif Bali.
“The investigation is based on conversations with the people involved.
These have provided partly different information about what has happened, and on several important points word for word ", writes Strömmer.
"The investigation has not examined whether any crimes have been committed.
We have a routine to raise the issue of police reporting in cases where it may be relevant, and this has been done here.
As the person in question is under 18 years of age, contact has also been made with her guardian. "
He continues:
"In the present case, several pieces of information - whether true or not - are of the kind that should be tried in court, rather than in an internal investigation.
The moderates have therefore called on the person concerned and her guardian to make a police report.
Of course, we will assist with what we can if the police and prosecutors want it.
We are now awaiting the legal process before taking any further action. "
