Common to several parties is that they want to increase the flow of people in the square.

The Moderates and the Sweden Democrats have concrete proposals that this can be achieved through parking spaces in the square.

"In the short term, we want to introduce 30 short-term car parks to benefit the business community and provide more movement in the area," the Moderates write in their response to the survey.

The Moderates and the Sweden Democrats also want to remove the public toilet in the square.

More cameras and stopped immigration

In the short term, the Center Party proposes, among other things, more cameras for increased camera surveillance.

The party also writes that one can consider whether the toilet in the square should remain.

"There are probably several short-term solutions, however, I think that it is not the short-term solutions that are the solution but we should focus on but the long-term ones," the party writes.

The Örebro party wants, among other things, to see tougher punishments and a tougher grip from the police, as well as a temporary halt to immigration.

"Until we get complete control of what we now have to deal with," writes Örebro Party.

The Left Party and the Social Democrats are pushing for social efforts and to increase equality in society.

Help from architectural firms

The Social Democrats write, among other things, that they take a holistic approach to the site's physical planning by having hired an architectural firm that works with site development.

"During the autumn, more discussions will begin with actors who are connected to the site, such as traders next to the square, police, property owners and others."

The Green Party emphasizes that the presence of security guards and the police may be needed at first to increase security and that they are open to listening to proposals that the inquiry into Järntorget comes to.

More security guards and increased lighting

The Christian Democrats answer that Järntorget needs to be opened up with more "thoroughfares" and that there must be more life and movement on the square for the place to feel safe.

The Liberals point to improved and enhanced lighting, increased police presence and increased camera surveillance. But also more security guards who complement the police. In the long term, a restructuring of the square as a whole is needed to increase the flow of people and reduce the opportunities for hauntings.
