The man who is now being prosecuted is the same person who was arrested in November but who was released after a couple of days.
According to Jönköpings-Posten, the indictment concerns two fires that must have been started on the ninth of August last year.
The crimes were first classified as arson but it has now been changed to serious damage.
The man admits that he started the fires on the ninth of August but he denies any wrongdoing.
Several terrain fires in the Mullsjö area
During the summer, seven unexplained fires were reported in Mullsjö and also in the summer of 2020, a number of fires occurred in Mullsjö, including at a campsite.
The police tell the newspaper that they will investigate whether the accused man may be suspected of other fires.
The man has been convicted of several crimes in the past, including assault, vandalism, negligence in traffic and illegal use of identity.
