The Prisoners Affairs Authority reported that lawyer Feldman was able to visit prisoner Zakaria Al-Zubaidi in Al-Jalama detention center, and it was found that the prisoner Al-Zubaidi was beaten and abused during his arrest.

In the meantime, the dialogue continues between the leaders of the prisoners in the detention centers and the administration of the Prisons Authority.

The commission indicated that the prisoner Al-Zubaidi, a prominent leader in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah), suffered a broken jaw and two ribs as a result of severe beatings. He was transferred to an Israeli hospital and given painkillers only after arrest.

His lawyer, Feldman, said that "Zakaria al-Zubaidi did not participate in the excavation work, and joined the six prisoners' room one day before they exited the tunnel, which took nearly a year to dig."

Al-Zubaidi explained to the lawyer Feldman during the visit that "during the four days during which they were liberated, they did not ask anyone for help and did not drink water throughout the period of their liberation, and they ate the fruits they found in the orchards, such as patience, figs and others."

Meanwhile, the Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported that the dialogue between the leaders of prisoners in prisons and the Prisons Authority administration is still ongoing, and that the final decision on the strike will be taken within the coming hours, and that this depends on the final answer by the administration.

The commission explained that the leaders of the captive movement confirmed that a kind of calm and stability had returned to prisons and detention centers, and that a large percentage of the prisoners' rights that were withdrawn after the escape from Gilboa prison were restored, but no final agreement was reached to guarantee the return of the prisoners' daily life to what it was. It is before the fifth of this month.

According to Al-Jazeera sources, the main obstacle is related to the sanctions imposed on Islamic Jihad prisoners in the wake of the escape.

The punitive measures included transfer campaigns for prisoners between prisons, especially those affiliated with the Islamic Jihad movement, raids and searches, and the prevention of visits.

In this context, vigils were organized in cities in the West Bank in support of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons. The participants in these vigils demanded the disclosure of the fate of the four prisoners who were re-arrested by the Israeli occupation forces.

The occupation forces are continuing their search operations for the two free prisoners, Ayham Kammji and Nafe’at, after they succeeded in escaping from Gilboa prison.
