- We are not the kind of children who sit and look right into the screen for five or eight hours in a row.

We want to get out and about, says Kasper Broberg who spends a lot of time with his classmate and neighbor Sean Özgur.

They play in football teams together and practice judo.

When they are at home, they play video and computer games - but they are tired of it.

They want to be out and about and practice hurdles on the street - but preferably they would like a playground in the area where they live, something that Kristianstadsbladet was the first to report on.

- On a playground you can meet new friends.

You can ride the slide and climb, says Sean Özgur.

"Is there an absolute basis"

On the greenery near their house, there has previously been a playground that was demolished several years ago.

Now the couple of friends have started a name collection in the hope that a playground will be built there again.

When SVT met the friends, 99 names had been collected.

Now, on September 15, they have reached almost 300.

- It has gone very well, says Sean Özgur.

- There are many families with children who live here.

The nice playground is on the other side of the main road and we do not let our children go there themselves.

Here alone, we have calculated that there are over 100 children and grandchildren who either live or come to visit.

There is an absolute basis for a playground, says Kasper's mother Josefine Broberg.

"We have fewer playgrounds today"

Sean and Kasper will submit the name collection to Östra Göinge's municipal councilor Patric Åberg (M).

- It is always fun with initiatives, especially from young people.

When it comes to the issue, we have a plan that we work with that we invest in a large, central playground in each village.

We have fewer playgrounds today than before.

Should it be in many places, there will be smaller playgrounds and we want playgrounds that are useful, says Patric Åberg to SVT Nyheter Skåne.

In the video, you get to accompany Sean and Kasper to the green where they want to see a playground.
