The Congolese elected officials made their parliamentary return Wednesday, September 15 in Kinshasa.

The session which has just started in the Senate and the National Assembly will be essentially budgetary.

During this September session, Congolese parliamentarians are due to debate the 2022 budget. report to the budget for fiscal year 2021.

This budget gives priority to sectors related to security, education, health, agriculture, without forgetting the operations of census and identification of the population as well as the organization of elections.

A large part is reserved for the army and the police, who must recruit and retire elements at the end of their career.

Pending the presentation to Parliament of this preliminary draft of the finance law, the President of the National Assembly, Christophe Mboso, considers that it is urgent to complete the installation of the members of the Ceni, while his colleague Modeste Bahati of the Senate, him, thinks of the reform of the upper house which will have among other things to better integrate the provinces.
