Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow is not going to be held responsible for possible migration crises caused by the actions of the West.

“When the European Union realized that this burden (illegal migrants. -

) was too heavy for it, it began to urge everyone else to share the burden of responsibility for the fate of these migrants.

We are not going to share the burden of responsibility for what was not only not supported by us, but what was condemned by us, ”Lavrov told reporters following a joint meeting of foreign ministers, defense ministers and secretaries of the Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

We will remind, earlier the European Union proposed to organize an international forum dedicated to the issue of resettlement of Afghan refugees.

According to Brussels, the solution to the migration crisis "must be international", since the consequences of the situation in Afghanistan are global.

According to Lavrov, migrants come from Afghanistan, Iraq and from all those countries that were "stirred up" by the West.

“And these Western colleagues are now just raising their voices, calling the actions of the Belarusian side a“ hybrid war ”and other various terms,” the head of the diplomatic department said.

It is worth noting that the EU countries accuse Moscow and Minsk of provoking a migration crisis on the border with the European Union.

Thus, Warsaw announced that allegedly "the problem on the Polish-Belarusian border is a dirty game" between the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the Kremlin.

Moscow and Minsk reject such accusations, stressing that the influx of migrants was due to the actions of the United States and NATO in Afghanistan.

According to Lavrov, "if the West is so worried about illegal migration, then the West needs to calm down."

He stressed that Western countries should understand: if they continue "adventures like the Iraqi, Libyan", as well as actions that "have not led to anything good in Afghanistan," then people will flee from places that the West "wanted to make happy its democratic mission ”.

“I heard Tony Blinken, US Secretary of State, once again justifying what happened in Afghanistan, said:“ We just realized that Afghans are not able to effectively counter threats, that their military cannot do this, and that their government is also does not have the will to do this. "

But what does this mean?

The fact that for 20 years the United States has been preparing just such an armed forces and such a government that do not know how to fulfill their duties, ”the minister said.

Lavrov recalled that for the first time so acute the topic of illegal migration arose after NATO "bombed Libya, destroyed the Libyan statehood."

“From a country that was one of the most stable and one of the most socially prosperous, it has turned into a black hole,” the Russian Foreign Minister said, adding that it was through this country that “illegal migrants flowed to Europe”.

"Newcomers are not needed"

Let us recall that the hasty withdrawal of US and NATO troops from Afghanistan contributed to the destabilization of the situation in the republic.

The confrontation between the Taliban * terrorist organization * and the country's government forces, which escalated against this background, ended in victory for the Taliban, who now control almost the entire territory of Afghanistan.

The change of power in Afghanistan led to the fact that some Afghans wanted to leave their homeland.

In particular, the influx of refugees from this republic is observed at the borders with the EU.

However, the EU countries are in no hurry to accept illegal immigrants.

The migration crisis on the border of Poland, the Baltic republics and Belarus led to the fact that Warsaw is trying to squeeze refugees into Belarusian territory.

At the same time, according to Minsk, the security forces use force against the refugees, "shooting over their heads."

“Sick, pregnant, half-dead people, and sometimes the dead, are thrown to the border with Belarus, returning them back,” Lukashenka said on August 23 during an extraordinary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

At the same time, other European states are not eager to open doors for Afghans.

As the head of the European Parliament David Sassoli said on September 1, "not a single EU country" met or welcomed the Afghan asylum seekers.

He announced this, speaking at the XVI International Strategic Forum in Slovenia.

“Everyone thinks only of those who worked with us and their family members, but no one has the courage to offer refuge to all those whose lives are still in danger today.

We cannot pretend that the Afghan issue does not concern us, since we participated in this mission, sharing its goals and objectives, ”he said.

The fact that none of the EU member states is ready "to repeat the situation of 2015 with open borders that arose after the crisis in Syria" was also stated by the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Janez Jansa, at the same forum.

In turn, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the European Union "does not need newcomers" simply "from a mathematical point of view."

“If you invite people from outside Europe, the cultural identity of Europe will change.

Some countries agree to this, but Hungary is not among them.

We do not want to change the cultural identity of our country, ”he said.

After these speeches, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, following an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers, said that the member states of the association would receive refugees from Afghanistan "on a voluntary basis" and on an individual basis.

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said yesterday that his country will no longer accept Afghan refugees.

“We will not accept a single Afghan refugee in our country,” he said.

"It won't happen while I'm in power."

Kurz explained that in recent years more than 44 thousand Afghan citizens have arrived on Austrian territory.

According to him, Austria "already has the fourth largest Afghan community in the world in terms of the ratio of migrants to population."

Kurtz stressed that the integration of such individuals is "very difficult."

As he noted, this is due to their level of education, "mostly low", as well as to differences in fundamental values.

"Are collectively responsible"

As Vladimir Shapovalov, deputy director of the Institute of History and Politics of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, said in an interview with RT, Western countries, including the EU states, are now trying to "disown Afghan refugees," although it is the West that should bear full responsibility for the consequences that arose after the extremely rapid and bad organized withdrawal of US and NATO troops from Afghanistan.

“Western countries, member states of the North Atlantic Alliance, including the US and the EU, bear collective responsibility for the current situation in Afghanistan and for the migration flows that have arisen because of this.

These states are simply obliged to provide assistance to the Afghan people, who have suffered because of the expansionist aggressive policy of Washington and its allies, ”the expert said.

In turn, political analyst Alexander Asafov also noted in a conversation with RT that "direct responsibility" for the fate of migrants lies with the West.

“It is the Western countries that are obliged to resolve all these issues.

However, instead, they declare their unwillingness to do this, and also try to involve the international community and Russia, in particular, in the elimination of the difficulties that have arisen.

In addition, there are attempts to blame Moscow and Minsk for the migration crisis.

However, the Russian Federation and Belarus did not support the actions of the West in Afghanistan and other countries, which subsequently led to chaos and the flight of a huge number of people, ”the analyst said.

According to Asafov, as soon as the case touched the refugees, Europe and the West quickly forgot their values related to human rights.

“This is a moral and ethical category that is used and applied by the European Union to those to whom it is beneficial to apply it.

However, in the history of the growing new migration crisis, the EU countries, especially Poland and the Baltic republics, are by no means distinguished by a humane attitude towards refugees.

Rather, on the contrary, there are more and more reports of the use of force by law enforcement officers and security forces of the EU countries against migrants, ”the expert said.

As Asafov summed up, in conditions when "the world is building on the verge of another large-scale migration crisis", which will affect most of the countries bordering Afghanistan and European states, the EU wants to postpone this as much as possible and do everything possible to keep migrants out into the union.

“European countries will try to accept a minimum number of refugees, since the experience of 2015 is before everyone's eyes.

Europe has drawn conclusions and is now not ready to open the door to illegal immigrants, looking for more or less intelligible justifications and arguments to justify such an approach, ”the analyst concluded.
